We had a great performance last week with our choir. Thanks for all the parents who came together to help put the production on! The youth were great and we are excited to keep the group going next year.
This week, Friday and Saturday, we have our performances of "Louis Pasteur." For those in the play, we will be doing rehearsals M-Th from 1-4 at the venue. We had originally scheduled the pictures for Tuesday with full costumes, but I wonder if a different day would work? Also, do any of you take pictures? My daughter Lily would do a great job, but she is also in it, so would just need help with shots she is in.
Please have your kids come in clothes that they will either wear underneath their other costumes or that they could change out of into their costumes. I would like them to be in costume every practice this week so we can be used to performing in them and changing for those who need to. However, I don't want them taking them home and losing pieces. We are going to try and come up with a system for keeping track of them and keeping them there.
We should have all the props in place, too, so it will be great fun!
Please also think ahead to being available for a parent meeting for next year, held sometime this summer, where our kids can hang out at a park and we can discuss options and ideas for next year....plays, songs, themes...
